Getting your player ready...

In a pretty valley just west of downtown Castle Rock, Oakwood Homes has clipped through its value-priced New Beginnings and Carson Series homes at Morningview at such a pace (five sold in five days last week) that they can’t be kept on the shelf. With Morningview’s new Clear Sky Elementary School set to open for fall this month, Oakwood has a choice today for buyers wanting into the popular community: Come see one large home that can deliver now in time for school, or check out the last nine sites where Oakwood can create you a home at low prices from the $170s.

“We can’t keep homes in stock,” says Oakwood’s Vanise Fuqua, who’ll be there today with Rhett Nelson with free ice creams for your family, 1-3 p.m., just for seeing the models. You’ll also get a look at that ‘Kendal’ design, 2,438 square feet, that can deliver in time for school. It’s on a corner site, has an oversized 2-car garage, and is priced at $338,922.

Up the hill, Oakwood has its lavishly sized Overlook collection on view from the $370s; but for families who want in to Morningview at the most affordable prices, time is running out. “These have been so affordable that they’ve been an easy choice even for buyers who have been looking at short-sale houses,” says Oakwood Vice President Kristen White. “We can actually build you a new home on one of these final New Beginnings lots faster than you can get a short-sale closed.”

…Such as a ‘Turner’ plan you can tour as a model – priced from $202,300, 1,456 square feet of finished space. For another $35,215, Oakwood adds a bonus room up and a finished basement, taking the size to 4-bedrooms, 3-½ baths, over 2,170 feet. Contract now (families under contract can register their kids for the current school year) and you also get Oakwood’s ’20/20′ 20th anniversary bonus special – take an extra 20 points toward free options included at the price, such as backyard landscaping (8 points), a 2 kW solar system (6 points) or a stainless French-door fridge (5 points).

You’ll also see “High Performance” energy features (with a guaranteed energy bill for the first two years of ownership!)…the scenic trails that wrap the hillsides (and that hosted a bike rally last month), and The Meadows’ Grange rec center, walking distance from New Beginnings homes – with 14-foot water slide, two 25-yard lap pools, leisure pool and more. Believe it or not, Meadows residents pay only $178-per-QUARTER, not per-month, for that…trash removal and recycling included.

From the Castle Rock Factory Stores, take Meadows Pkwy west two miles to Morningview Drive, turn left a block to Morningview Lane.
