About 20 protesters gathered outside of the Greeley offices of Rep. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., on Tuesday to voice their opinions and concerns about the financial negotiations taking place in Washington.
“We don’t feel they should be playing games with the debt ceiling,” said Tannis Bator, one of those in attendance.
Additionally, about 80 people gathered at Gardner’s Fort Collins office Tuesday afternoon.
Gardner’s office has received many calls from both sides in support and opposition of the talks, according to Rachel Boxer, a Gardner spokeswoman.
“People are always welcome to voice their opinion to us,” Boxer said. “People are frustrated.”
