COLORADO SPRINGS — For now, Detra Dione Farries is a free woman.
The suspect in the Feb. 23 dragging death of Colorado Springs tow-truck driver Allen Lew Rose was released this week from the El Paso County jail on $25,000 bond, according to sheriff’s officials.
The bond was posted at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday by Express Bail in Colorado Springs, sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Mike Schaller said.
Her release came after a judge lowered Farries’ bond from $50,000 at a July 15 court appearance at which she pleaded not guilty to all charges against her.
Farries, 33, was arrested two days after Rose, a co-owner of J&J Towing in Colorado Springs, was dragged more than a mile when the tow of an SUV went awry. The Gazette
