Denver Police have obtained additional surveillance video of the suspect involved in an assault Sunday where a man tried to drag a woman into an alley.

The incident occurred on Sunday between 1:15 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. in the 2200 block of South Broadway.

The woman was approached by the suspect from behind. She described a sharp sting which she believed might have been a stun gun.

The woman was able to fight off the man and call for help.

The man has been described as Hispanic or White in his 20s. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall, and had a black goatee. At the time he was wearing a black shirt and pants.

In the new pictures it appears that the suspect has a large tattoo on his left forearm and shows that the suspect may be driving a Toyota Celica with a model year between 2000 and 2003.

A similar attack that happened a day earlier has not yet been definitely linked to the same suspect.

In that case, a woman walking alone in the area of Lincoln Street and East 11th Avenue was approached by a man walking in the opposite direction.

As the man approached, he raised his hands and began choking the woman. As the woman fell to the ground she was able to reach for her pepper spray and sprayed the man.

In that case, the suspect was described as a white man about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds. The victim also described the suspect in that case as having a long black beard.
