Anschutz Exploration has sold its remaining holdings in the Wil liston Basin in Montana and North Dakota to an unnamed Canadian company for $115 million. The Denver company said Monday that the sale included its remaining operated and nonoperated producing properties and undeveloped land in the basin.
In a statement, president Bill Miller said Anschutz Exploration would focus on shale oil on land it leases, mainly in Texas, Montana, Colorado and New York. Anschutz sold another Wil liston holding to Oxy USA in 2010. The Associated Press
