DENVER—The Anschutz Exploration Corp. has sold its remaining holdings in the Williston Basin in Montana and North Dakota to an unnamed Canadian company for $115 million.

The Denver company said Monday that the sale included its remaining operated and non-operated producing properties and undeveloped land in the basin.

In a statement, Anschutz Exploration president Bill Miller said it would now focus on emerging shale oil plays on land it leases, mainly in Texas, Montana, Colorado and New York.

Anschutz sold another holding in the basin to Oxy USA in December 2010.
