FRISCO, Colo.—Drivers might experience short delays Thursday on eastbound Interstate 70 as crews do repair work just west of the Eisenhower Tunnel.

The Colorado Department of Transportation says one lane will be closed from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. so crews can repair a bump in the road caused by shifting soil in the spring and summer.

A permanent fix to the problem has already been implemented in the same area on westbound I-70. CDOT says $2.5 million has been set aside to fix the eastbound lanes in the fall of 2012. Until then, crews are performing fixes to prevent the bump from becoming a hazard.
