DENVER—The Denver City Council is considering lifetime licenses for pets.

Currently the city issues one- and three-year licenses.

According to the Denver Post (), the move would make Denver one of the first cities in Colorado to offer such a license for pets.

Currently, annual licensing costs the city’s pet owners $15, while three-year licenses cost $40. The lifetime passes would cost $150.
