DENVER—Authorities used DNA evidence to arrest a 42-year-old transient in the kidnapping and killing a Denver woman in 2004.
Billy Wilson was charged Tuesday with one count of first-degree murder after deliberation, two counts of felony murder and one count of second-degree kidnapping.
Authorities say Gina Gruenwald died after she was stabbed in the neck.
According to the Denver Post (), Wilson was arrested in San Francisco earlier this year on an unrelated case and a DNA sample led to his arrest in the Denver case.
