CHICAGO — White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko is hoping to return to the lineup tonight after being sidelined by a bruised left calf.

Konerko, who is batting .305 with 25 homers and 76 RBIs, said his calf is still tender and probably will be for another week or so, but he said it might improve enough to allow him to play in the next two days.
