COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado Springs police have arrested a burglary suspect who sought refuge in a maggot-infested trashcan.
Police say they were following two suspects Tuesday in a copper theft case and when they attempted to arrest them, the pair took off. Officers took one suspect into custody and found the other hiding in a trash can.
Both suspects were booked on multiple counts of burglary. They were not identified.
