The Rockies’ losing ways at Coors Field can be attributed to a lot of factors. At the top of the list: they haven’t hit. They went into Thursday hitting .224 (22-for-98) in the first three games of the homestand. That dropped them to .276 at home, two points below their .278 mark in 2008, the lowest home average in franchise history.

Tying things up.

The Rockies tied the game with a run in the fourth. And who produced it? Ty Wigginton, whose single to center scored Todd Helton from second. Wigginton helped keep the Rockies afloat with eight homers in June but was hitting .174 with runners in scoring position.
