A Greeley man faces a felony child abuse charge for allegations that he shoved his girlfriend’s 17-month-old son into a TV stand for biting him on the leg.
The child was admitted July 26 in the intensive care unit of The Children’s Hospital in Aurora with bleeding in his brain. He has since been taken out of the ICU and is listed in stable condition.
Andrew Rodriguez, 21, is in Weld County Jail on a $100,000 bond, facing a felony child abuse charge that could put him in jail for up to 12 years.
