A man wearing only a yellow T-shirt entered a Boulder apartment through an open door and sexually assaulted a young woman who was sleeping on a couch, authorities say.
The 20-year-old woman was able to get away from the man and call police, according to a news release.
The woman was sleeping on a couch in a home on the 1100 block of Grandview at 2:30 a.m. when she realized she was being assaulted, the news release says.
After she called for help the man, who appeared to be intoxicated or on drugs, fled the apartment, police say.
Police believe the man snuck into the apartment through an unlocked door.
The suspect is white, about 25, around 6-feet tall with a medium build. He has brown wavy to curly hair that went over his ears. The suspect’s yellow T-shirt possibly had green lettering on the front.
