A man wearing only a yellow T-shirt entered a Boulder apartment through an unlocked door and sexually assaulted a woman who was sleeping on a couch early Saturday, authorities say.
The 20-year-old woman was able to get away from the man and call police, according to a news release.
The woman was sleeping on a couch at a home in the 1100 block of Grandview at 2:30 a.m. when she realized she was being assaulted, police said.
After she called for help, the man, who appeared to be intoxicated or on drugs, fled the apartment.
Police believe the man sneaked into the apartment through an unlocked door.
The suspect is white, about 25 years old and around 6 feet tall with a medium build. He has brown wavy to curly hair that hangs over his ears.
The suspect’s yellow T-shirt possibly had green lettering on the front.
