Kyle Major of CSU-Pueblo and Scott Roche of Wheaton (Ill.) College are on the preseason watch list for the Fred Mitchell Award for outstanding place-kicker, which goes to the top college kicker who doesn’t play Division I football.
Major, a senior from Heritage High School, was 16-of-23 on field-goal attempts last season and led the RMAC in scoring with 96 points.
Roche, a senior from Faith Christian High School, led Division III with 18 field goals last season, including a 52-yarder that set a school record.
