DENVER—The Colorado Department of Education will be switching to computers to prevent cheating on statewide tests.

Associate commissioner Jo O’Brien says teacher consequences are being tied to test scores and the stakes will be higher.

The Denver Post reports ( ) educators will begin using computers in two years to reduce the possibility of cheating.
