FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Work has resumed to repave the main runway at Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport after federal officials promised to restore funding.
Airport director Jason Licon says Coulson Excavating cancelled the project earlier this month after Congress cut funding, but then rescheduled it once they got the news from the Federal Aviation Administration on Tuesday.
According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan ( ), workers have been patching and repairing the 20-year-old runway for years, allowing it to remain in use.
