GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—A Grand Junction man who allegedly told investigators he provided marijuana to his 6- and 7-year-old daughters has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.
The Daily Sentinel reports ( ) that the sentence 28-year-old Jack Dalton Duke received Wednesday was consistent with the terms of a June plea agreement in which he pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of marijuana to a minor.
Duke was arrested in October after one of his daughters told school officials that she smokes weed with her father when she doesn’t feel well, according to an arrest affidavit.
Prosecutors say Duke’s four children were placed in foster homes.
