DENVER—The Denver district attorney has formally charged a man with first-degree murder after a woman’s stabbing death.
Fifty-three-year-old Roberto Santisteven also is charged with first-degree felony murder and first-degree burglary.
The charges allege he entered the woman’s apartment Aug. 7 in violation of a restraining order and fatally stabbed her. Witnesses and neighbors who heard the woman’s screams detained Santisteven until police arrived.
He is being held without bond.
