We’ve been waiting all summer for ‘ second full-length, “Slave Ambient,” and we got a taste of it a few months back when they came through to record a Mile Marker. “Baby Missiles” chugs along like a freight train and might remind you of another Philadelphia psych-folk act, (who, himself, is a friend and studio partner of War On Drugs lead singer Adam Granduciel). Both have that nasally Dylan-esque twang in their voice and a penchant for wandering, shimmering guitar lines. The band stopped in a few hours before they last played the , and they’ll be back there again on Oct. 30. Stream or download these four songs, perfect for a lazy summer evening.
