Fountain police have arrested two suspects in the assault and stabbing of a man at Lindamood Park in Fountain.
Michael Schoonover, 28, was arrested for investigation of first degree assault in the stabbing and Davonte Parker, 28, was arrested for misdemeanor assault, said Cmdr. Mike Haley of the Fountain Police Department.
The name of the victim, who was seriously injured, has not been released.
At about 5 p.m. Tuesday police were called to the park at 502 Royalty Pl. and found the victim suffering from knife wounds. The suspects and the victim were acquaintances, Haley said.
