Getting your player ready...
In addition to jumping from 103rd to 29th in the world ranking and picking up a check for $1.45 million, Keegan Bradley became the 13th different player to win a major championship in the past 13 majors, the seventh straight first-time winner of a major championship, the first American major championship winner since Phil Mickelson won his third Masters in 2010, and the fourth first-time major winner this year. It is the first year since 2003 in which all four winners were first-timers and just the fourth time it has happened. Bradley also became the first player to win a major championship with a long putter.
