LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says it will not seek criminal charges against the rapper Game after a tweet from his account incited a telephone flash mob that overwhelmed the emergency phone system at a sheriff’s station.
Game has since apologized for a message on his Twitter account Friday encouraging followers to call a phone number if they wanted an internship. The number was to the sheriff’s station in Compton.
