
TV time. Two Denver companies have attracted the attention of the Cooking Channel, an offshoot of the Food Network.
Denver Biscuit Co. will get its second shift on the cable network Saturday, when the Cooking Channel films “Unique Eats, Between the Buns.”
Biscuit Co. executive chef Jonathan Larsen will be doing cooking demonstrations throughout the day for the cameras. The filming will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 3237 E. Colfax Ave. Biscuit fans are welcome to the restaurant during the shoot.
Dave Elger, host of the Cooking Channel’s Hotmixology, will be filming Fruli Belgian fruit beer and models from Denver’s Donna Baldwin Agency beginning at 8 p.m. Aug. 27 at Chinook Tavern, 6380 S. Fiddlers Green Circle in Greenwood Village.
The public is invited to sample the dessert bar and listen to a live DJ.
