Copper Country brings a lineup of 18 Grammy Award winners in country, blues, bluegrass, folk and gospel to Copper Mountain on Sept. 2-4. In addition, the Colorado state final of the Texaco Country Showdown, will take place Saturday evening.

The Historic Turner Farm, in Buena Vista, invites guests to step back in time to the turn of the 20th century for Apple Fest, held Sept. 10. Enjoy apple pie contests, old-time demonstrations and more.
Palisade uncorks festival.
The Colorado Mountain Wine Fest, Sept. 15-18, draws wine lovers to Palisade to sample Colorado wines. Visitors can also participate in a variety of events, including the Tour de Vineyards bicycle tour, which winds through 25 miles of wine country and orchards.
