LONGMONT, Colo.—The Longmont Public Library will remain open while it is being inspected for bedbugs.

An exterminator was expected to begin testing Friday after custodians discovered suspected bedbugs on six chairs.

According to the Longmont Times-Call (), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention do not consider bedbugs a health risk.

The library said it will post signs informing the public of the bedbug inspection.
