The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating a lead toward finding a suspect in a year-old homicide case.
Last August, the department released a warrant for Leonel Hernandez — who at the time was 17 — for the death of 17-year-old Isaiah Goss.
Hernandez was charged as an adult.
Goss was shot on June 20, 2010, after an argument at the Camelot Apartment Homes, 458 S. Murray Blvd. Goss died from his injuries the following day.
Today, the department received a tip that Hernandez was seen walking in the area of Platte Avenue and Murray Boulevard.
Hernandez, who goes by the name, “Suspect,” is a Hispanic man about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
