A tornado warning for northwestern Morgan County and central Weld County expired at 6:30 p.m.
The National Weather Service had said a severe thunderstorm was located northwest of Orchard, or 21 miles northwest of Fort Morgan, capable of producing a tornado.
The storm is moving southeast at 10 mph.
The areas in the warning included Weldona, Riverside Reservoir, Orchard, Jackson Reservoir and Goodrich.
