An unidentified woman died this morning when a verbal fight escalated and someone stabbed her.
Denver police are holding Deon Porchia, 46, as they continue their investigation.
Shortly before 3 a.m., Denver police received a call about a stabbing at 1535 Uinta St. Medics transported the woman to Denver Health Medical Center, where she later died.
A preliminary investigation showed that Porchia and the woman were arguing before she was stabbed, police said in a news release.
