COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A third suspect is wanted on a charge of accessory to murder in a shooting at a Colorado Springs auto parts store.
Police said Tuesday they are looking for 48-year-old Frani Olivas in connection with the July 27 shooting death of Joaquin Paniagua (wah-KEEN’ pah-nee-AH-gwah) of Colorado Springs. Another person was found wounded in the store parking lot.
Police say Olivas is also known as Frani Romero.
Sixty-year-old Ernest Schmidt was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and other charges. His wife, 35-year-old Dawn Morgan, was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to first-degree murder.
Police say Schmidt is also known as 47-year-old Edward Coffey.
The auto parts store killing was one of three unrelated shootings in Colorado Springs that day that left four people dead.
