Denver police are investigating a shooting in Montbello tonight. A woman was critically wounded and a man was arrested, said Lt. Matt Murray.
No names have been released. Murray said the woman is 35 years old. She was shot multiple times in the torso, he said.
The man, who is wheelchair-bound, is 33.
Murray said he did not know their relationship, but the case is being investigated as domestic violence.
The shooting happened at about 8:15 p.m. near Crown Boulevard and East 54th Avenue, about a mile west of North Chambers Road.
The woman was taken to Denver Health Medical Center. She was in critical but stable condition, Murray said
