Former Baltimore Colts defensive tackle Art Donovan has his 1958 NFL world championship ring back, more than 30 years after it was stolen while he and wife Dottie were vacationing in Hong Kong. Police in Howard County, Md., said Tuesday they retrieved the ring and returned it to the Hall of Famer. “To tell the truth, after a while I forgot all about it until I got a call from the detectives,” Donovan, 87, said. “It’s a lovely looking ring. It’s sitting right in front of me. At my age, what I have are memories and great friends. This allows me to relive those memories again.” Denver Post wire services
