MEXICO CITY — Spanish authorities have detained a Mexican airline pilot suspected of smuggling more than 90 pounds of cocaine into Spain, the Mexican Embassy said Tuesday.
Aeromexico co-pilot Ruben Garcia Garcia was arrested Thursday at the Madrid-Barajas International Airport, according to the embassy. He was stopped during a routine luggage check.
