COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A driver who was pulled over for swerving in traffic has been arrested on drug charges after he told authorities he was looking for deer.
Pueblo County deputies said they found nine pounds of methamphetamine when they stopped the vehicle on Interstate 25 on Wednesday.
According to KKTV-TV ( ), the driver, Oscar Lara Acosta, and a passenger, Juvantino Villalba-Leyva, are being held in the Pueblo County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond on drug charges and immigration holds.
