COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado Springs police thwarted an ATM theft after thieves broke into a local store.
Police said they received an alarm early Monday after someone broke the glass door at the Valero convenience store.
When they got there, they found the ATM damaged.
A review of video surveillance showed the thieves wore masks and escaped just before police arrived.
