Police in Colorado Springs are looking for a passerby who fired a gun at people who were on an apartment balcony.
The incident happened at about 6:15 p.m. Monday in the 1800 block of Monterey Drive, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department crime blotter.
No one was hit by the gunfire.
Police in the area of Arlington and Shasta Drives heard multiple shots coming from the El Vecino Apartments. Officers responded and determined that people on an apartment balcony got into a verbal argument with a passerby, which lead to three shots being fired.
The shooter fled and remains at large.
Investigators have information on several possible suspects and the investigation is ongoing.
Police did not say what led to the argument.
