Cimation, a spinoff of Houston-based Audubon Engineering, is opening a 8,000 square foot office in the Denver Tech Center, Cimation chief executive Jonathan Klein said today.
“The Denver presence extends our automation and industrial IT capabilities to the Rocky Mountain Region and strengthens our position as a leading solution provider to upstream and midstream operators,” said Klein.
Klein said the Denver office will provide project management, communications design, control room management, cyber security as well as design and drafting services.
Klein had been the instrumentation engineering manager at Audubon Engineering. In early 2009, he helped spin off the Audubon’s Automation Department to form Cimation, focused on automation and industrial IT.
Cimation said that Robert Crow, with more than 30 years experience in the automation business and a former manager of Hinz, a Rockwell Automation Company, will direct Cimation’s Denver operations.
The Denver office will provide a full-service engineering and sales center, complete with an automation laboratory and client offices.
Cimation specializes in turnkey electrical, instrumentation, and supervisory control and data acquisition solutions that integrate monitoring and control equipment, measurement instruments and communication devices.
