A man suspected of several recent robberies in Denver — including some incidents captured by surveillance cameras — has been arrested by police.
Eric Manganiello, 41, was arrested Tuesday when officers were called to a disturbance involving “a man armed with a gun,” according to a Denver police media release.
The incident Tuesday happened near the intersection of West Colfax Avenue and Speer Boulevard. When officers arrived they found a replica of handgun tucked into Manganiello’s waistband, police said.
Police suspect Manganiello of at least nine robberies — businesses, pedestrians and a carjacking — over the past four weeks.
Manganiello is being held at the Denver Jail on suspicion of aggravated robbery. Police said Manganiello has a robbery arrest record in Arizona.
