Playmobil’s newest travel toy for tots is a Noah’s Ark of animals. No, really. My Take Along 1.2.3 Noah’s Ark is a sturdy plastic tub shaped like an ark, filled with two each of colorful plastic elephants, zebras, lions, giraffes, doves and people. The brood can be arranged ascending an included plank or hanging out on the removable deck, which doubles as a latched cover for storage. An attached deck-top plastic “shelter” with portholes has a handle for toting around. And as you might expect from any respectable Noah’s Ark, the whole thing floats on water. The portable ark measures 12 inches long by 5.5 inches wide by 7 inches high and can be used to stash other goodies in lieu of the usual gang.
