A mother is facing misdemeanor charges for handcuffing her 14-year-old daughter after an early morning fight last Sunday, 9Wants to Know has learned. In police reports and during an interview with 9Wants to Know, Angela Martin admits she handcuffed her daughter after an altercation that began over a Facebook post. The altercation began, according to court records, at 2 a.m., after the teen’s parents arrived home.
Martin claims her daughter refused to hand over her account password after the teen posted the word “vagina” on her page, and that’s when the two began fighting over the computer.
According to court records reviewed by 9Wants to Know, the teen left the home while cuffed and ran to a neighbor’s house. The neighbor called police who then showed up and found the teen still in handcuffs.
