After upsetting fifth-ranked Nebraska on Friday night, the Colorado State volleyball team returned to the court Saturday and swept Albany 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 27-25) at Moby Arena in Fort Collins.
The 15th-ranked Rams recorded 40 kills and a season-high seven service aces against the Danes.
CSU freshman Deedra Foss had a team-high four aces. Juniors Dana Cranston and Brieon Paige led the CSU attack with nine kills apiece.
Purdue defeats DU.
The University of Denver volleyball team was unable to overcome an early deficit and lost to 13th-ranked Purdue in four sets (25-17, 17-25, 25-21, 25-19) at DU.

Metro State capped a four-win weekend with 3-0 victories over St. Cloud State (25-9, 25-16, 25-15) and Northwood (25-17, 25-17, 25-18) on Saturday at the Oredigger Classic, a volleyball tournament in Golden. The Roadrunners held St. Cloud State to nine points in the opening set, their fewest allowed in a set since 2009.
Regis remains undefeated.
The Regis volleyball team (4-0) swept two matches at the St. Mary’s tournament in San Antonio, defeating Pace 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-10) and Illinois-Springfield 3-0 (25-9, 25-9, 25-10).
