For the record: TCU, the defending Rose Bowl champion, is 0-1 after a wild 50-48 loss at Baylor.
Streaking: Before the Baylor game, TCU had 25 consecutive regular-season victories. That was the nation’s longest active streak. “Our guys aren’t looking for sympathy. . . . That’s not what TCU does,” Horned Frogs coach Gary Patterson said.

Who’s not: TCU’s defense. After ranking No. 1 nationally in total defense the last three years, the Horned Frogs allowed 50 points and 564 yards in the season opener against Baylor.
Key stat: Senior cornerback Greg McCoy set a TCU record with 229 yards on six kickoff returns in the Baylor game.
FYI: The last time TCU lost two games in a row, Air Force was involved. The Falcons beat the Frogs 20-17 in overtime in 2007 at Falcon Stadium. The week before, TCU lost at Texas 34-13.
