Google has jumped on the online daily deals bandwagon with Google Offers, launching a beta version in Denver on Wednesday. The site’s first offer was $20 in merchandise from Denver’s Tattered Cover Book Store for $5.
Google made an attempt to buy online deal giant Groupon late last year, only to have the company reject the multibillion-dollar offer.
