Colorado wideout Paul Richardson is the first player in school history to be named player of the week by the Pac-12 Conference.

The sophomore was given the conference’s offensive honor after he caught 11 passes for a school-record 284 yards and two touchdowns in CU’s overtime loss to California this weekend. He also returned a punt for four yards, and had one rush for nine yards.

Ten of Richardson’s catches were for first downs.

Washington linebacker Cort Dennison (12 tackles and a forced fumble) was named defensive player of the week.
