The Devil Dash 5K storms Lyons on Oct. 8 with runners navigating a muddy course of pits, nets, rivers and even fire, all themed after the seven deadly sins.
Devil- and angel-costumed runners will climb through 14 man-made and natural obstacles in a sloppy scamper up sodden trails. (The mud dash is getting popular in Colorado, with Beaver Creek’s Tough Mudder and Copper Mountain’s Warrior Dash drawing thousands of racers this summer.)
Sloppy soldiers of Lyons’ Devil Dash can celebrate with live music, food and beer in the Garden of Eden and rest well knowing the event is a zero-waste shindig, with all refuse recycled or composted.
