CASTLE ROCK, Colo.—A judge says there’s enough evidence to proceed to trial against four men charged with first-degree murder and felony murder after a double murder in Douglas County.

Amara Wells and her brother-in-law Robert Rafferty were killed Feb. 23. Her estranged husband, Christopher Wells, is accused of offering $15,000 to have them killed. Investigators say Rafferty’s wife, who is Christopher Wells’ sister, also was targeted but wasn’t home.

At the time of the slayings, Christopher Wells was jailed on accusations that he violated a restraining order. He is accused of arranging the deaths while Josiah Sher, Micah Woody and Matthew Plake are accused of helping carry out the plot.

KMGH-TV in Denver reports ( ) prosecutors have until February to decide whether to pursue the death penalty against the four.
