A 40-year-old woman from Pasadena, Texas, was seriously injured in a rollover crash on Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park, but authorities said today they do not know when the crash occurred.

Her name was not released.

Her car was found at about 5:30 a.m. Sunday about one-half mile east of Deer Ridge Junction.

“The woman inside the vehicle had numerous serious injuries and had an altered level of consciousness,” a media release from the National Park Service.

The woman taken to Estes Park Medical Center then airlifted to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.
