Three University of Colorado students were cited for discharging a firearm after one of them allegedly shot an officer with an Airsoft gun on University Hill early Saturday morning.
According to Boulder police records, an officer was standing on a sidewalk near 11th and Pleasant streets just after midnight Saturday when he felt something hit his right shoulder. Another officer on the scene found a white, plastic BB near where the officer had been hit.
The officers then heard a clicking sound that was consistent with an Airsoft gun coming from a third floor window of a nearby residence.
