ATMORE, Ala. — A man who shot and killed an Alabama store clerk during a robbery in 1994 was executed Thursday evening. Derrick O. Mason, 37, was convicted of killing Angela Cagle, 25, in Huntsville on March 24, 1994, by shooting her twice in the face at close range after ordering her to take off her clothes during a robbery of a convenience store.
